Great customer service and the food is always fresh and delicious been coming here for years and I think it's the owner he always has a classic movie playing
We came around 4PM, so before the dinner rush and ordered the Pad Thai, Chinese Broccoli With Crispy Pork, and Tom Kha Gai. One of our orders came with one free bowl of rice. Everything came out fresh and steamy. The Pad Thai had lots of flavor, the Crispy Pork was super crunchy, and the Tom Yum was huge! Customer service was excellent. Price was super affordable given its portion size (yes, even in this economy). I would definitely go here again. Some other Thai places have a generic or almost bland taste to their Pad Thai. This one felt very authentic. I'm not a huge fan of pork in general, but the Crispy pork crunchiness changed my perspective. The pork was as crispy as a chip and very flavorful without being too oily/greasy. The Tom Kha Gai was pretty sour/lemony, but I liked it. You definitely needed the rice to dilute the sourness, and it was a good combination with the Crispy Pork. The serving sizes are pretty big, so be prepared to take some home or leave with a really big belly. Summary: - CLEANLINESS. The inside of the restaurant was clean. There weren't too many people when we came in, so it didn't look crowded or overwhelming. - COSTS. $ Affordable. ~$13-20 depending on what you order. - CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff was quick, friendly, and professional. There was only one cashier/server, and she managed to do both at the same time. - FOOD QUALITY. All the ingredients were fresh, and the food came out piping hot. It felt like a home-cooked meal being served right off the pan. - FOOD QUANTITY. Large portion size. It's a good bang for your buck. - PARKING. The parking lot could be crowded and tight if there are a lot of vehicles taking up both lanes. Just go in before the peak lunch/dinner times, and you should be fine. Just beware that the parking spots are a little tight (almost compact-sized but the parking lot is usually empty) - WAIT TIME. We went before peak dinner time at 4 PM. The restaurant was about halfway full. Our three meals came out about 20 minutes after ordering.
AMAZING I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. I came here craving a clean and nourishing meal after a long day at Disneyland and they exceeded my expectations. My friend is from another country and always talks about how he craves spicy food and no place ever makes his food spicy enough. He said this place made it the spiciest he has had here in the states and it made him so happy. It was wonderful of the staff to indulge our request of "make it as spicy as you can". We ordered a combination fried rice (as spicy as possible) and then a green pik king (medium spicy) with some thai teas. The food and drinks were so freaking good. We were so happy with picking this place and discussed coming back again. The restaurant was cute and clean, and the two staff (a man and a younger woman) were soooooo kind and helpful. They provided excellent service and made sure our food came out quickly, especially since we came in an hour before closing. I will certainly be back and Im sure my friend will too :)
Cute intimate spot with great service. The appetizers were abundant, so no issues on scarcity. We also ordered the seafood soup. A bit sweet but still tasty. The staff is super sweet to kids as well which is much appreciated. Parking is easy as the restaurant has a parking lot. We also get take out from here and have never had an issue with our order.
While searching for food places during dinner time, this Thai spot caught our attention on Yelp. It was pretty busy when we arrived. It's a very small place with limited seatings. We ordered the Beef Pad See Ew and Chicken Green Curry. The pad see ew was just okay, it wasn't the best dish we've tried. There was an extra charge for beef. The green curry was very flavorful and really good for my first time trying it. It came with white rice with no extra charge, which is a plus. Service was fine. Plenty of parking available in the small business plaza. They're located very close to the Los Cerritos Center.
We went here on a Saturday evening and got seated immediately. When we originally got there, it wasn't too busy but as time went on it picked up a little. The servers were very friendly and kept checking on us which was nice! I ordered the Rainbow Medley with beef! I thought the portion size was pretty good and it was pretty filling esp with the bowl of rice! I liked the combination of vegetables too. The mixture of the beef, vegetables and the soy sauce was very flavorful! However, I do wish they put a little less cabbage in and a little more meat. Overall the dish was good! Will definitely come back to try other things too!
I went on a Saturday night around 5:45 and we were seated right away! Servers were very kind and helpful. I got the Khao soi, which isn't on their physical menu so you have to ask for it. I got the dish with soft tofu as my protein. The portion size is good, definitely enough for at least 2 servings. And they don't skimp on the tofu either. The fried noodles were pretty oily. The curry isn't the most flavorful so overall the dish wasn't a standout one. However, it was definitely still good!
Ordered Togo, service was good. Food tasted good, like your average Thai restaurant with lots of options. Portions are large and flavorful and they gave extra Thai chilis. Pad Thai came with a side of peanuts, and the bean sprouts were on the side to prevent them from going soggy. Soup was well balanced with just enough spice, and large pieces of shrimp.
Thailicious is located in a little plaza near a Burger King near Norwalk and South St. in Cerritos. I came in with a friend for lunch on a weekday. There was only one person working in the front. He was juggling between taking orders, working the cashier, and running all of the food. It's a little shop, so please be a bit patient and understanding. The food came out quite quickly! I went with the combination shrimp and chicken (+2$ extra) pad see ew. The portion is generous and it was very delicious. However, I'm sad that there were only 2 small pieces of shrimp. Nonetheless the meal was still very tasty, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Make sure to check in on Yelp, as you get a free lemonade! Since the portions are so big, if you're on a work lunch break, I recommend eating half or splitting the meal with someone else. I'll definitely be back!
I am trying all the khao soi places in LA and stumbled upon Thailicious while on the SGV eats facebook group. So glad I discovered it because its one of the best khao soi in the LA area. It tasted really authentic just like northern thailand. The prices here are great because you can get a small noodle dish for $7.50 that can fill you up! The servers were really nice and service was fast. Parking is super easy as they have their own parking lot
